Living with ADHD often means feeling torn inside without the possibility of control.
I help you to move the things that YOU want to move. Because you are bigger than your (perhaps) diagnosis!
SOS - Session
This individual session is designed to help you in an acute situation of stress, overload or excessive demands. The aim is to bring you back to the here and now in a gentle way - through the body. This is less about talking and more about centering, grounding and arriving at yourself.
If you want to work on longer processes or tackle larger topics, I recommend booking the 5 or 10-package.
The "5"
Five individual sessions just for you and your concerns. In the first session, we get to know each other and talk about which topic I can accompany you with. I will also support you in getting more specific about your issue if you do not yet have clarity. In sessions 2 to 4, we go deeper and explore, experiment and experience. In the fifth session, you decide whether you want to let the process end or whether you want to continue. Because every coaching process is very individual.
When you book the 5-pack you save approx. 10% compared to five individual bookings.
The "10"
This package is particularly suitable for you if you already know that you want to work on a major transformation and/or you want to get the best value for money. Here we take a little more time to set goals and evaluate what is currently a priority for you. In sessions 3 to 7, we dive deep and work in depth. Here you commit to a process that will move you - in many ways. The last two sessions are about re-emerging and integrating what you have learned into your everyday life.
You can do the "10" online, hybrid or live here on site with me in Basel.
HybridIf you live further away but still want more than "just online", we can create a mini-retreat where we put the deep middle portion of the sessions on a weekend here on site, and do the beginning and end online.

Hey, I'm Dr. Kate
When I was 16, I was diagnosed with "hyperkinetic disorder", now known as attention deficit disorder mixed type. But I have never seen ADHD as a disorder. My differences have left their mark on me: deep thinking, planning and some challenges in relationships. But when the ADHD magic kicks in, I'm full of energy and passion - I've always wanted to understand who I really am: Kate.
I discovered my passion for psychology, psychotherapy and science at an early age. My doctorate in psycholinguistics gave me a sound scientific education.
During my studies, however, it became clear that I am more than just my knowledge. I began to grasp body, mind and soul holistically. Meditation, yoga, dance, embodiment, breathwork, mind-expanding experiences and therapy came together to form an affirming philosophy of life. An approach to life that combines a balance between evidence-based science and self-awareness.
In my work, I accompany women in their search for a fulfilling life with ADHD.
A face with many facets - as is typical for someone with ADHD and I am ready to share and support this complexity.

At the moment, many women are newly diagnosed with ADHD, but there are too few support services, or those with extreme waiting times. As a woman with ADHD, I have lived experience and in-depth expertise to help precisely these women. Last but not least: Women support women.

I do not (yet) offer therapy, as this requires a special (healing) license. While psychotherapy is often aimed at long-term support and works with the biography, coaching and counseling focus on the present and future. My coaching has more depth than usual, but is not therapy. In the case of severe emotional challenges, I recommend parallel healing therapy alongside my coaching.

You don't need an official diagnosis to try ADHD coaching. If you have a hunch or want to work on ADHD-related problems, you can always do so. An official diagnosis is made by a doctor (e.g. psychiatrist). There are some self-assessment tests available on the internet, but these are no substitute for a diagnosis.

Coaching is not a protected profession. Anyone can call themselves a "coach". Nevertheless, I have the highest standards for myself. I completed my PhD (2021) in Psycholinguistics at the University of Edinburgh, giving me a solid scientific education. I completed my first Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring at the University of Warwick (2016).
I am a trained yoga teacher (Hatha & Vinyasa, 2021; Embodied Yoga Principles, 2021; Restorative, 2022), as well as a somatics teacher (2023). Certified as an Embodiment Coach (2023), I am currently also training to become a Gestalt psychotherapist.
Ongoing participation in specialist conferences on mental health since 2015 complements my specialist knowledge, and my personal experience as a woman with ADHD also flows into my work.
