Data protection

Unless otherwise stated below, the provision of your personal data is not required by law or contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. Failure to provide it has no consequences. This only applies if no other information is provided in the following processing operations. "Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Server log files

You can visit our website without providing any personal data. Each time you access our website, usage data is transmitted to us or our web host / IT service provider by your Internet browser and stored in log data (so-called server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the IP address, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR out of our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of our website and improving our offer.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Newsletter & contact form

General contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Collection and processing when using the contact form
When you use the contact form, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) only to the extent that you provide. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By sending your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. We will only use your email address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted unless you have consented to further processing and use.

Use of the e-mail address for sending newsletters
We use your e-mail address independently of the contract processing exclusively for our own advertising purposes for sending newsletters, provided you have expressly consented to this. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by notifying us. Your e-mail address will then be removed from the mailing list.

Double opt-in and logging

The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registering, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no-one can register with other people's e-mail addresses. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address.

Use of the e-mail address for sending direct advertising

We use your e-mail address, which we have received as part of the sale of a product or service, for the electronic transmission of advertising for our own goods or services that are similar to those that you have already purchased from us, unless you have objected to this use. The provision of the e-mail address is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide it means that no contract can be concluded. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR out of our overriding legitimate interest in direct advertising. You can object to this use of your email address at any time by notifying us. The contact details for exercising your objection can be found in the legal notice. You can also use the link provided for this purpose in the advertising email. This will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.

Use of CCM19

This website uses the cookie consent tool "CCM19" to obtain effective user consent for cookies requiring consent and cookie-based applications

of Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn, Germany

Phone: +49 (0) 228 280 56 68, e-mail: info@papoo.de

By integrating a corresponding JavaScript code, a banner is displayed to users when they access the page, in which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking a box. The tool blocks the setting of all cookies requiring consent until the respective user gives their consent by ticking the appropriate box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's end device if consent has been granted.

So that the cookie consent tool can clearly assign page views to individual users and individually record, log and store the consent settings made by the user for the duration of a session, certain user information (including the IP address) is collected by the cookie consent tool when our website is accessed, transmitted to CCM19 servers and stored there.

This data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.

Another legal basis for the data processing described is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.

Further information on the use of data by CCM19 can be found at https://www.ccm19.de/datenschutzerklaerung.html

We use social network plug-ins on our website. The integration of social plug-ins and the data processing that takes place serves the purpose of optimizing the advertising of our products.

When social plug-ins are integrated, a link is established between your computer and the servers of the social network provider and the plug-in is displayed on the page by notifying your browser, provided you have expressly consented to this. Both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider servers. This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to the social network. Transmission also takes place for users who are not registered or not logged in. If you are connected to one or more of your social network accounts at the same time, the information collected can also be assigned to your corresponding profiles. When you use the plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking the button), this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your social media accounts before visiting our website and before activating the buttons.
